Another Drawlloween has come and gone but boy oh boy did I get some good drawing in during the month of October! Each day of October a prompt was given by our lovely host Mab Graves (@mabgraves). If you’d like to see all the spooktacular artwork that members of the drawlloween club created search #mabsdrawlloweenclub on the social media platform Instagram.
Not all good things end there! I worked on some creepy cute commissions. One was for a sweet family, Heidi & Ville. I enjoyed every step of the process, especially because Heidi wanted a Halloween themed family portrait! I shipped this family portrait off to Australia where Heidi and Ville live.
Heidi and Ville would be the type of family that would visit infiniteautumn.com. This website is a special place online where you can celebrate Halloween everyday. I was lucky enough to be the chosen artist to work on The Infinite Autumn’s October pumpkin logo. Taking art into another realm I’ve begun to work in Procreate for the iPad Pro. I am loving the variety of brushes and I’ve already created my first mini print entirely digitally made! The digital design is now available in color and grey scale in the shop. Shop Now!
Speaking of different realms I had a soft debut as a vendor and I set up the Natatat shop and met the world in real life! Being a vendor at a school during a Halloween carnival was a sweet experience with trick or treaters around and the Halloween spirit. Among prints and stickers I also sold my collaboration pins that Pinheadz an art pin brand from Martian Toys produced for me. I am looking forward to be a regular vendor at Halloween events next year!
I’ve been artfully active these past two months and I don’t plan on stopping. Thank you to everyone who supports me in my creative adventures and I can’t wait to show you all what more I have in store! The year isn’t over yet and I have a feeling something very special will be announced by the new year. Stay tuned boys and girls!
